We are pleased to be able offer our guests a variation of hacking out in the mountains and lessons within our own professional 20 x 40m dressage arena. Our lessons are taken on a one to one basis or with couples/partners.we can offer lessons either with Jacque or with Trudi Leach our very own resident BHS instructor.
The trial riding here at El Rancho offers our guests the opportunity to discover the
wonderful Andalucian countryside upon horse back. We use trials that have have been well trodden for centuries, as well as some off piste riding for our more experienced riders. The trails, vary between tracks through the valleys amongst the olive groves to pathways through the pine clad mountains. Our routes are varied, depending upon the
ability of the rider, but all our routes provide breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. We try our upmost to cater for all riding abilities, all we ask is that guests give us an honest appraisal of their riding ability. This ensures that we assign the correct horse to you.
Please note that all riders are accompanied on horseback, and that the maximum riders we take are two guests at any time.
Trial Riding
1 hours trail riding 25 Euros
1 1/2 hours trail riding 35 Euros
2 hours trail riding 45 Euros
Extra riding per hour after 2 hours 20 Euros per hour
Horseriding lessons
Horse riding lessons are taken in the dressage arena, either with Jacque or Trudi leach our resident BHS instructor. Lessons are usually taken individually. Our more
experienced riders will have the opportunity to take lessons on either, Orlanda our
Belgium warm blood or Glory Seeker our Irish thorough bred. The benefit from having lessons on a one to one basis is unsurpassable 30 mins (actual riding time) 30 Euros
Please note that all riders must have valid horse riding insurance, it is not expensive and we are happy to put you in touch with a suitable company that will cover you for your holiday.
